Daikomyosai 2008, Seminar and Banquet + Black Belt Seminar
By request, we will have Black Belt Training on Sunday, Dec 14th.
On Saturday, the Seminar will follow the long-standing Atlanta tradition, inviting all Black Belts attending the seminar to teach a technique or concept that is important to them, along with the philosophy behind it. This is an excellent opportunity to see what other instructors are doing and get different perspectives from other practitioners.
Saturday night, the Dinner & Party will be an excellent time as always! We'll have an opportunity for some awards & presentations, along with a great time with friends, socializing, music, jokes, and stories, etc. If you have any cool pictures from the year, be sure to get them to us ahead of time for the slideshow. Come join in & wrap up 2008 with us in Atlanta!
The Black Belt Seminar on Sunday will be limited to practitioners at Shodan level and higher, and will follow a format similar to Saturday.

'Heart, Sword, Perseverance' Documentary
The long-awaited documentary, 'Heart, Sword, Perseverance' is finally out! This documentary focuses on the myths and realities of the art of Ninjutsu, and features interviews with two of the most senior practitioners of the art outside of Japan, Roy Wilkinson and Bud Malmstrom, and with Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. Dr. Hatsumi is Grandmaster of the Bujinkan system, which contains the last remaining lineages of ninjutsu in existence today. Footage of these three Master Teachers in action is also included, as well as additional footage from the Atlanta Bujinkan Dojo, the original school for ninjutsu in the Western Hemisphere. (Subtitles in English, German, Spanish and Japanese.)
